Job Description:
The Science and Systems Group at our client is a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. They develop leading edge technologies such as microfluidics, optics, micro-mechanical devices and products such as medical diagnostics, fuel cells, displays, sensors, for a range of markets from healthcare to consumer products.
They are seeking a highly skilled consultant with a background in physics to lead demanding development projects and build new business to join their team. The candidate will have first class technical and communication skills, experience at leading large multidisciplinary projects and an interest in and aptitude for developing business.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates for the role of Consultant in Physics will need to have:
- Strong academic record in Physics with a 2.1 degree or better from a leading institute and preferably Phd.
- Track record of developing and commercialising advanced technology in an industrial setting and delivering technology-based projects with challenging timelines and product requirements.
- Excellent market awareness and capability to develop new market opportunities for technology.
- Very good communication and team skills including leading multi-disciplinary science and engineering teams.
